Teaching Methodology

At Pradyuman DreamNest School, we follow a student-centric approach that goes beyond textbooks. We believe in "Learning by Doing" and integrate modern technology with traditional values.

Academic Structure

Pre-Primary (Nursery, LKG, UKG)

The formative years are crucial. We follow a Play-Way method where learning is fun.

  • Curriculum: Activity-based, Phonics, Motor Skills.
  • Focus: Social interaction, Oral expression.
  • Subjects: English, Hindi, Number Work, EVS (Oral), Art.
  • Assessment: No formal exams. Continuous observation.

Primary (Class I – V)

Transition from play-based to formal Schooling with a focus on literacy and numeracy.

  • Curriculum: CBSE / NCERT based.
  • Subjects: English, Hindi, Math, EVS/Science, Social Studies, Computer.
  • Co-Scholastic: Music, Dance, Karate, Sports.
  • Assessment: Periodic Tests & Term-end evaluations.

Middle School (Class VI – VIII)

Developing critical thinking and introduction to specialized subjects.

  • Curriculum: NCERT (Strictly followed).
  • Subjects: Eng, Hindi, Sanskrit (3rd Lang), Math, Science, SST, AI/Computer.
  • Focus: Project work, Lab activities, & Skill subjects.
  • Assessment: Periodic Assessment (PA) & Half Yearly/Annual Exams.

Secondary (Class IX – X)

Rigorous preparation for Board Examinations with focus on concepts.

  • Curriculum: CBSE Board Syllabus.
  • Main Subjects: English, Hindi-A, Mathematics (Standard/Basic), Science, Social Science.
  • Additional: Information Technology (402) / AI.
  • Assessment: Internal Assessment (20 Marks) + Board Exam (80 Marks).

Assessment & Examination Pattern

We follow the uniform system of assessment recommended by CBSE.

Scholastic Area

Term 1 (Apr - Sep)

Periodic Test 1 + Half Yearly Exam

Term 2 (Oct - Mar)

Periodic Test 3 + Annual Exam

* For Class ix & x, Pre-Board exams are conducted in Dec/Jan.

Co-Scholastic Area

Graded on a 3-point (A-C) or 5-point (A-E) scale based on:

  • Art Education
  • Health & Physical Education
  • Work Education / Discipline
